Show #1: Jack And The Beanstalk Bud and Lou meet Mother Goose! One of the few color feature films Abbott and Costello made, it actually starts out in black and white, but soon springboards into a truly colorful fairy tale. Lou played the bumbling fool Jack, repeatedly tricked by the conniving Mr. Dinglepuss (Abbott) who sells him magic beans. Their adventures take him up the beanstalk where they find a magic castle, a talking harp, and a hen that lays golden eggs. They also encounter a fearsome giant! One of the funniest and most enjoyable of Bud and Lou's many movies. As a special bonus: the original theatrical trailer for Jack and the Beanstalk. Music, merriment and laughter combined to bring fun for the whole family. Show #2: Abbott And Costello In The Movies: Bud Abbott and Lou Costello originally teamed in vaudeville and burlesque show, before getting their big break on radio.
